AYOBAMI holds a Bachelor of Science (B.sc) from the University of Ibadan in the year 1990. He is a fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing Association of Nigeria (IDMN). He completed his Post Graduate Executive Diploma in Insurance from the University of Lagos and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
A well-grounded Industry veteran with specifics in Business Development, Relationship management, Sales and Marketing (Retail & Corporate) and has developed competences along these lines. He is a pioneer of several initiatives within the Insurance Industry which has made him to consult for several organizations and consistently developed road map for increased revenue. Ayo has equally served on full-time basis at Senior Executive Management level for some A-Rated insurance companies in Nigeria.
With over thirty years’ experience in the Insurance industry, he pioneered the Strategic Alliance Partnership Initiative between Conventional Banks and Insurance companies which later evolved as what is now known today as Banc Assurance model that many companies have adopted in the last sixteen years.
His wealth of experience about sales has consistently provided different training platforms within and outside the Insurance Industry workshop both locally and internationally where he shares his practical experiences with his audience.
He is a force to reckon with in terms of facilitating Sales and Relationship management training and has deployed this training modules both for sales team of underwriting firms as well as brokers. Ayo has extensively worked in the training space with over forty underwriting firms and over a hundred brokerage firms.
Presently he leads the entire Retail Team of Capital Express Assurance Limited where he oversees thirty-three Retail Locations across the nation.
He is a motivational speaker and has attended and facilitated several courses, seminars, and workshop both locally and internationally.
