Chief (Dr.) Anthony Aletor, CON, mni, (JP)

Chief (Dr) Anthony Aletor, CON, mni, (JP), is an astute businessman and Chairman of Capital Express Holdings Limited with interests in insurance, investment banking, commodity trading, mining, shipping, energy and logistics. He currently sits on the boards of various notable companies.

He has a degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos, an MBA from the University of Ibadan, an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Community Development from the Ecole Superieur d’Administration et d’Economie (ESAE-University), Cotonou, Benin Republic, and is also a Doctoral Fellow (Dr. ICRMP), International Certified Risk Management Professionals, United Kingdom.

Chief Aletor, has attended several local and international courses and he  is a member of several reputable professional and non-professional associations, such as: National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos (mni); Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute of London (ACII); Associate, Chartered   Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS); Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM); Member of the Association of Pensions Fund Managers of Nigeria; Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD); Associate, Corporation of Insurance Brokers (ACIB); and Honorary Fellowship, Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management of Nigeria (HCILRM).

He is a distinguished strategist, manager, and administrator with sterling leadership qualities that have been recognized by groups, organisations and governments, with numerous awards and laurels. He holds the chieftaincy title of The Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland, Aradakan of Owo Kingdom, The Ehinoma of Igueben Kingdom, and Ci-Garin Hausa. Chiefly amongst the various awards are the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) conferred on him by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) and Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Chief (Dr.) Anthony Aletor is happily married to Chief (Mrs) Olayinka Titilope Aletor mni, (JP) and they are blessed with children and grand-children. He is a devout Christian member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, where he has served as the Chairman of Christ Against Drug Abuse Ministry (CADAM). He is also a member of the Metropolitan Club, Lagos and the Lagos Motor Boat Club. His life exemplifies a harmonious blend of professional achievement, philanthropy, and commitment to his loved ones.
