Mrs. Nana Fatima Mede is an accomplished professional distinguishing herself in the fields of finance, governance and strategy in both the private and public sectors.

Her impactful services were at various times as the Revenue Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning, and Environment, National Coordinator of the Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS), where she made savings of 161 billion through the public sector payroll reforms, and leading the Nigerian initiative on Intended Naturally Determined Contribution process for COP 21 in Paris.

In addition to being a Non-executive Director at Capital Express Life Assurance Limited, she is a Board Member of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), Independent Non-executive Director at Oando PLC and a member of the National Judiciary Council of Nigeria.

She is a fellow of of multiple professional bodies, holds an MBA from Alabama A&M University, among many others.

Her expertise includes public financial management, capital planning, data-driven optimisation and institutional reforms.

She was awarded the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) in 2023 in recognition of her national service and exemplary dedication.
